Beat Jet Lag With Dry Brew Coffee in a Bite

Beat Jet Lag With Dry Brew Coffee in a Bite

You booked the red-eye to squeeze in an extra day. Instead, you land groggy, your body convinced it’s still the middle of the night while the world around you is wide awake. That’s not just “being tired,” it’s jet lag: your body clock fighting the local clock. And here’s the catch: the cure isn’t simply more caffeine. It’s smarter timing. With Dry Brew (each chew ≈ 65 mg of caffeine, about the same as a small cup of coffee), you can use caffeine like a travel tool to reset faster and make the most of your trip.

Why timing matters more than total caffeine

Caffeine can absolutely sharpen alertness on travel days and during the first 24–48 hours after you land. Research on jet lag and shift work finds caffeine improves attention and performance when you’re trying to stay awake if you use it strategically. The same stimulant taken too late can delay sleep and slow your adjustment.

Two quick rules of thumb:

  • Small, spaced doses are more effective than big blasts. A simple travel rule is ~50 mg every ~2 hours when you’re trying to stay awake. More won’t make you more alert and may backfire later. (One Dry Brew chew = ~65 mg; consider half a chew if you’re sensitive.)

  • Cut caffeine well before your target bedtime. Sleep experts and circadian tools recommend avoiding caffeine within ~8 hours of planned sleep, since caffeine’s effects can linger (its half-life ranges roughly 2–12 hours, depending on the person).

Remember: value small doses. If 65 mg feels like too much late in the day, take half a chew, then reassess 90–120 minutes later.

Why Dry Brew works well for travel

Dry Brew is precisely dosed: ~65 mg per chew makes it easy to track intake (no mystery lattes). No liquids, no spills: Gate changes, security lines, and tight connections are easier when your coffee fits in your pocket.

Jet lag doesn’t have to steal your first day. Time your chews right, and you’ll step off the plane aligned, alert, and ready to explore.
